CONFIRMED: FORGOTTEN CELT RETURNS

1

CELTIC’S forgotten man Anthony Ralston has been given the nod by Neil Lennon to face Livingston at Parkhead this afternoon..

The right-back, who has made only 18 appearances for the Hoops in past five seasons and hasn’t figured for over a year, comes in with Stephen Welsh making way.

The 22-year-old defender has rarely featured and has had loan spells at Queen’s Park, Dundee United and St Johnstone in recent years.

Bitton, who missed the 1-1 draw with Hibs on Monday due to suspension following his red card at Ibrox, is back to team up with Shane Duffy in central defence.

Cameron Harper drops out after making his debut against the Easter Road outfit with Mikey Johnston moving into the middle of the frontline with four strikers – Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths, Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala – still still self-isolating after Christopher Jullien tested positive for Covid.

Livingston arrive in the east end of Glasgow on the back of eight successive wins since Dave Martindale replaced Gary Holt as manager.

TEAM: Hazard; Ralston, Bitton, Duffy, Laxalt;  Frimpong, Soro, Turnbull, McGregor, Rogic; Johnston. Subs: Doohan, Taylor, Connell, Robertson, Oko-Flex, Henderson, Harper, Welsh, Dembele.
